Apprehended Violence Orders (AVO)

Whether you need a Domestic or Personal order, if you experience violence or fear violence, you can apply for an order (including an urgent or temporary order) to help stop that violence. The police may also press charges against the person who is being violent.

Driving Under the Influence

Driving under the influence (DUI) is the offense of driving, operating, or being in control of a vehicle while impaired by alcohol or drugs (including recreational drugs and those prescribed by physicians), to a level that renders the driver incapable of operating a motor vehicle safely. We help our clients understand, so they can make informed choices regarding their situation.

Assault Charges

In Australia, a person can be charged with common assault just by threatening to assault someone. There are 5 types of assault: Common Assault; Assault Occasioning Bodily Harm; Unlawful Wounding; Grievous Bodily Harm; Serious Assault; and Sexual Assault.
